Man Killed in San Marcos Motorcycle Crash on Staples Road and SH 123

San Marcos, Texas (March 1, 2019) – A man was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a garbage truck early Thursday morning in San Marcos.
According to the San Marcos police, the fatal collision took place at about 2:20 a.m. February 28 near Staples Road and SH 123.
Police said the man was riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle when he collided with a Texas Disposal Systems truck that was blocking lanes as it dumped a large trash dumpster.
The rider succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
The San Marcos Police are investigating the crash.
