Rider Killed in Madison County Motorcycle Crash on SH 90
Madison County, Texas (July 21, 2019) – A man was killed in a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Friday night near Madisonville in Madison County, according to the DPS.
The wreck happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, on SH 90 near FM 1452.
DPS said the rider was traveling northbound on SH 90 when he was hit head-on by a southbound 2019 Cadillac Escalade that was attempting to overtake in a no-passing zone.
The rider was wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Cadillac and his passengers were not seriously injured.
The DPS is investigating the collision.
