Man Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Loop 375 West

El Paso, Texas (December 26, 2019) – A man in his mid or late 20s was killed Tuesday evening in a pedestrian accident in El Paso, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 6:31 p.m., December 24, on Loop 375 West at milepost 57 near the Paisano exit.

Police said the man was crossing Loop 375 West from southbound to northbound when he was hit by a Ford F-150 driven by Luis Carlos Ruiz of Socorro.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Ruiz remained at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
