1 Injured in Spicewood Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 71 at Paleface Ranch Road

Spicewood, Texas (October 30, 2019) – A man in his 50s was seriously injured in a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon near Spicewood, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on Tuesday, October 29, on State Highway 71 at Paleface Ranch Road.

Officials said two vehicles collided head-on causing one of them to roll over.

A man in his 50s was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash closed both directions of the highway. The lanes were reopened around 5:45 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
