Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 281 near Sanco Street

San Antonio, Texas (July 2, 2021) – A man was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m., July 1, on U.S. Highway 281, south near Sanco Street.

Police said a 33-year-old man was driving a GMC Sierra when he crashed head-on into another vehicle.

The man was arrested and is facing intoxication assault charges.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
