Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410 at Alamo Downs Parkway

San Antonio, Texas (August 7, 2020) – A man was critically injured after being struck by an 18-wheeler early Thursday morning in San Antonio, according to police.

The accident happened on August 6, in the northbound lanes of Loop 410 at Alamo Downs Parkway.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by an 18-wheeler.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

The accident closed the northbound lanes of Loop 410, and they have since been reopened.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
