Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on I-30 in West Fort Worth

72-Year-Old Man Killed in West Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 30 near Chapel Creek Blvd

Fort Worth, Texas (July 11, 2020) – A 72-year-old Willow Park man was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday night in west Fort Worth, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident took place around 8:20 p.m. on July 9, in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Chapel Creek Blvd.

According to the report, the man was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the freeway.

The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the accident.
