1 Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Brittmoore near Beltway 8 and Hammerly

Houston, Texas (September 6, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Thursday night in NW Houston, according to the police.

The accident took place around 11:30 p.m. September 5, in the 1400 block of Brittmoore, near Beltway 8 and Hammerly.

Police said the man was walking across the street when a light-colored 2014 to 2017 Toyota pickup truck struck him.

The vehicle sped away heading northbound after the accident.

The victim was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.

Police are looking for the Toyota pickup truck with front-end damage.
