One Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 West and Callaghan
San Antonio, Texas (January 22, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a motorcycle Monday night in San Antonio, according to a local news release.
The deadly crash happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. January 21, on Interstate 10 West and Callaghan.
Police said the man got out of his truck which had broken down and was struck by the motorcycle and other oncoming traffic.
The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Authorities closed the freeway for several hours as they worked on the scene. The highway has since been reopened.
The police are investigating the crash.
