45-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on S. Post Oak

Houston, Texas (August 15, 2019) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday night in Houston, according to a local news source.

The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. August 14, in the 16400 block of South Post Oak

Police said two people were walking northbound with one walking on the sidewalk and the other in the street. The man who was walking on the street was then hit by a northbound SUV.

The impact threw the man 75 feet. He was killed in the crash.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene after the accident. They didn’t show any signs of intoxication.

Officers said speed was not a factor in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
