29-Year-Old Man Killed in Harker Heights Pedestrian Accident on W Central Texas Expressway

Harker Heights, Texas (July 15, 2019) – A 29-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Harker Heights, police said.

The deadly accident happened around 3:52 a.m. July 13, in the 800 block of W Central Texas Expressway.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2013 Hyundai Genesis was traveling eastbound in the center lane when it struck the man who was crossing the unlighted section of the roadway.

Police said the man was wearing all dark clothing at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
