Man Hospitalized after El Paso Pedestrian Crash near South El Paso Street

El Paso, Texas (June17, 2019) – A train struck and injured a pedestrian early Sunday morning in South El Paso.

Police said the incident was reported at around 6:45 a.m. Sunday, June 16, near the 1000 block of South El Paso Street.

A man was hit by a train as he tried to cross the tracks.

The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to University Medical Center.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are conducting an investigation into the incident,
