Man Critically Injured in South Austin Pedestrian Accident at Emerald Forest and William Cannon Drive

Austin, Texas (October 14, 2019) – A man in his 20s was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Sunday afternoon in south Austin, according to a local news source.

The accident took place around 3:30 p.m. on October 13, at the intersection of Emerald Forest and William Cannon Drive.

Police said the man was in a wheelchair when he was hit by a vehicle at the intersection.

The victim was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
