Man and Woman Injured in West Bexar County Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas Research Parkway

Bexar County, Texas (June 17, 2021) – A man and a woman were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in West Bexar County, according to the deputies.

The crash happened around 8:00 a.m., June 16, on Texas Research Parkway, not far from Highway 90 and Potranco Road and outside Loop 1604.

Deputies said a white SUV and a gray truck side-swiped each other.

A woman who was driving the SUV was airlifted to Brooke Army Medical Center with several lacerations and broken bones and was listed in stable condition.

The 42-year-old man who was driving the truck was taken to University Hospital with broken bones.

The crash closed the roadway for more than an hour.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
