Manor Police Officer Injured in Head-On Crash on Briarcreek Loop in Manor

Manor Police Officer Injured in Manor Two-Vehicle Crash on Briarcreek Loop

Manor, Texas (February 10, 2020) – A Manor police officer was injured in a head-on collision Sunday morning in Manor, according to the police.

The crash happened around 4:40 a.m. February 9, in the 13700 block of Briarcreek Loop.

According to the report, Manor police were assisting the Travis County Sheriff’s Department on a report of a burglary in progress. When Travis County Sheriff Deputies arrived, ten juveniles fled the scene in a vehicle. That vehicle then crashed head-on into a Manor police unit.

The officer was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released.

The driver of the getaway car was taken into custody. The other nine juveniles were in custody of TCSO for parent pick up.

The crash remains under investigation.
