Jasper County, Texas (January 12, 2019) – Three people were injured in a rear-end collision in the Brookland area Wednesday, a local news source reported.
The accident took place at an unspecified time Wednesday, January 9 on U.S. 96.
According to the report, a GMC SUV driven by Lacey Landry, 33, was traveling northbound on U.S. 96 behind a Chevy pickup driven by Marc Goyette, 58. When the GMC slowed to turn right, in the process, it slammed into the rear of the Chevy.
Landry, Goyette and a passenger in the Chevy, Robyn Goyette, 53, were taken to a hospital in Jasper with non-life threatening injuries.
As per the report, it was raining at the time of the accident and the roads were wet.
