Maria Margarita Garcia ID’d as Woman Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Alameda Street at Ysleta Lane

El Paso, Texas (September 17, 2019) – The woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday afternoon in Lower Valley has been identified as Maria Margarita Garcia, 70, according to the police.

The accident happened at about 3:54 p.m. September 15, on Alameda Street at Ysleta Lane.

Police said Garcia was crossing the street when she was hit by a truck at the intersection.

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
