Robertson County, Texas (June 29, 2020) – A woman was killed, and several people were injured Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Robertson County, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 11:51 a.m. June 28, on Texas 6, south of Hearne.

Troopers said 32-year-old Maria Roque-Manueles of Bryan was driving a vehicle and stopped in the inside northbound lane waiting to make a U-turn when she was rear-ended by another vehicle.

The force of the impact pushed Roque-Manueles’ vehicle into the southbound lane where it struck a pickup truck.

Roque-Manueles was taken to a Bryan hospital where she later died. Her passenger was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Eight other people in the other vehicles were taken to local hospitals where they were treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
