Mark Levin Killed in Williamson County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 971 and North Town Mills Road

Williamson County, Texas (October 9, 2020) – The person who was killed in a two-vehicle crash last month in Northeast Williamson County has been identified as Mark Levin, 68, of Georgetown, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened at about 12:50 p.m., September 20, in the area of FM 971 and North Town Mills Road, just a quarter-mile west of Weir.

Authorities said a 2020 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on FM 971 and was entering a curve while a 2013 Cadillac Escalade was traveling eastbound.

The Honda veered into the eastbound lanes and crashed head-on into the Escalade.

The Honda driver, Levin, was taken to a Williamson County hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The crash closed both directions of FM 971 for about two hours.

The crash remains under investigation.

We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mark Levin.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.
