Martin De la Torre ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Interstate 10 Crash near Lee Trevino in El Paso

El Paso, Texas (October 3, 2022) –The motorcyclist who died on Sunday night in a traffic accident in El Paso has been identified as 38-year-old Martin De la Torre.

The deadly crash occurred at around 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, on Interstate 10, just east of Lee Trevino.

El Paso police said De la Torre was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Interstate 10 when he crashed into the center median barrier.

De la Torre was ejected from the bike and landed in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10, where he was hit by a vehicle whose driver did not stop.

De la Torre died in the crash.
