Marvinv Weaver Killed in Texarkana Pedestrian Accident on North State Line Avenue

Texarakana, Texas (April 20, 2019) – A man in a wheelchair was fatally hit by a vehicle on Thursday night in Texarkana, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident took place at around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, April 18, on North State Line Avenue.
According to the DPS, 68-year-old Marvinv Weaver of Texarkana, Arkansas, was trying to cross North State Line Avenue in a wheelchair when he was struck by a southbound 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe.
The report showed that Weaver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hyundai driver, 69-year-old Tina Turner of New Boston, was not injured. DPS said the driver remained at the scene after the accident.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
