Matthew Lindsey, Daniella Harris and Spencer Jandreau Killed in Burnet County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 71 near East Trail Road
Burnet County, Texas (March 9, 2023) – Three people were killed, and four others were injured early Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Burnet County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 3:00 a.m., February 26, on State Highway 71 near East Trail Road.
DPS said a 2020 Ford F-350 with four occupants was traveling westbound on the highway while a 2013 Hyundai with three occupants was traveling westbound.
The Ford crashed head-on into the Hyundai.
The driver of the Hyundai, Matthew Lindsey, 23, of San Antonio, and the two passengers, Daniella Harris, 23, of San Antonio, and Spencer Jandreau, 24, of San Antonio, were killed in the crash.
The occupants of the Ford were taken to Baylor Scott & White in Marble Falls and St. David’s South in Austin for treatment. The Ford driver, 21-year-old Isaac Munoz of Horseshoe Bay, was arrested and is facing three counts of Failure to Stop and Render aid – Death. His bond was set at a combined $500,000.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
