Maylin Perez ID’d as Woman Killed in Odessa Car Crash at 87th and U.S. Highway 385
Odessa, Texas (January 31, 2019) – The woman who was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash which left two boys critically injured in North Odessa has been identified as Maylin Gabriela Melo Perez, 36, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened at an unspecified time on Tuesday, January 30, at the intersection of 87th and U.S. Highway 385.
Police said Perez was driving a Silver Toyota 4Runner when she ran a stop and crashed into a Black Hummer which was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 385.
Perez was declared dead at the scene.
Two boys aged, 2 and 6, who were passengers in the Toyota, sustained critical injuries in the crash.
No further details were provided.
The police are investigating the crash.
