McKay Valdez ID’d as Man Injured in Odessa Motorcycle Accident on 42nd Street and Tanglewood
Odessa, Texas (May 22, 2019) – The man who was injured in a motorcycle accident over the weekend in Odessa has been identified as, 36-year-old McKay Valdez, according to the authorities.
The accident happened in the area of 42nd Street and Tanglewood.
Reportedly, Valdez was riding a yellow Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on 42nd Street when he was hit by a blue BMW 328i driven by Benjamin Ramos which was turning southbound onto Tanglewood from 42nd Street.
The impact ejected Valdez from the motorcycle. He was rushed to Medical Center Hospital and was later airlifted to Lubbock with life-threatening injuries.
Ramos was arrested for Intoxication Assault causing serious bodily injury, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, false identification, marijuana possession, and DWLI.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
