Melissa Leigh Edwards, Brendan Edwards and Walton Cleburne Walker Killed in Canyon Lake Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 306

Canyon Lake, Texas (November 13, 2019) – Three people were killed Sunday evening in a head-on collision in Canyon Lake, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash took place around 6:58 p.m. on November 10, on FM 306.

DPS said Dave Michael Estes, 40, was driving eastbound on the highway when he veered into the westbound lanes and crashed head-on into an oncoming car driven by Melissa Leigh Edwards, 41, of Spring Branch.

Edwards had two passengers with her, her 11-year-old son, Brendan Edwards, and Walton Cleburne Walker, 93, of Rockport. All three were killed in the crash.

Estes was taken to Ascension Seton Hays Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
