Mexico Man Dies in Midland County Crash on I-20

Midland County, Texas (February 15, 2019) – A man died in a fatal two-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Midland County, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. February 14 on Interstate 20, about four miles west of Midland.
DPS said traffic was slowing down on eastbound I-20 due to an initial crash when a 29-year-old man from Mexico State slammed into the rear of a Freightliner truck tractor towing a semi-trailer.
The Mexico man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the big rig, a 57-year-old Midland man, was not hurt.
The DPS is investigating the incident.
