37-Year-Old Michael Brandon Guerra Killed in San Antonio 7-Vehicle Crash on SW Military Drive near South Flores Street 

San Antonio, Texas (April 27, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was killed Saturday afternoon in a seven-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s South Side has been identified as Michael Brandon Guerra, 37, according to San Antonio police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:30 p.m. April 25, in the 200 block of SW Military Drive, near South Flores Street. 

Police said a commercial delivery truck was traveling westbound on Military Drive when the driver claimed the brakes failed and the truck hit a Chevy Cobalt. The force of the impact pushed the Chevy into a motorcycle.

The motorcycle was thrown about 40 yards away, and the rider, Guerra, was trapped under the truck and was dragged for about 10 feet.

Initial reports said seven vehicles, including the motorcycle, were involved in the collision.

Guerra was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation.
