Michael “Doc” Thompson ID’d as Talk Show Host Killed in Hamilton City Pedestrian Accident Carson Road
Hamilton City, Texas (February 7,  2019) – The conservative talk radio host who was fatally struck by an Amtrak train Tuesday afternoon in Haltom City has been identified as Michael “Doc” Thompson, 49, of Bentonville, Arkansas, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:45 p.m. February 5, in the 2000 block of Carson Road.
Witnesses said Thompson was jogging along the tracks when a passing train hit him.
Thompson was killed in the crash.
The police said a pair of wireless earbuds was found at the scene, but it wasn’t known if Thompson had been wearing them.
No one on the train was injured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
