Bovina, Texas (September 9, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was killed Tuesday evening in a grain silo accident in Bovina.

The deadly accident happened around 3:30 p.m., September 7, at Heartland Co-Op.

Authorities said three people were cleaning and removing corn from the grain silo when one of them, Michael Molden, went in the silo and was sucked in underneath.

Molden’s body was recovered around 8:45 p.m.

No further details regarding the accident were provided.

An investigation is underway.
