Michael Taylor Among 2 Killed in Cibolo Car Crash on FM 78

Cibolo, Texas (July 3, 2019) – One of the two people killed in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning near Cibolo has been identified as Michael Taylor, 21, of Cibolo.

The incident took place at about 2 a.m. Sunday, June 30, on FM 78.

Authorities said a 2005 Jeep Wrangler was traveling on FM 78 when it, for unknown reasons, drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with an oncoming 2005 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer.

The impact caused the Jeep to roll over and ended up ejecting Bennet.

Taylor, who was driving the Chevrolet, and the other driver, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

A woman riding as a passenger in the Chevrolet was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment.

The authorities are investigating the incident.
