Two Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Zarzamora Street

San Antonio, Texas (May 30, 2021) – A mother and her son were injured on Saturday in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.

The crash happened on Zarzamora Street.

Police said a man was driving a Ford pickup truck when he was involved in a minor accident with a Dodge pickup truck.

The Ford fled the scene after the crash. The driver lost control, veered into oncoming traffic, and crashed head-on into another vehicle that was being occupied by a mother and her son.

The mother and her son were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Ford driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The crash remains under investigation.
