21-Year-Old Man Killed in Harlingen Motorcycle Accident at 77 Sunshine Strip and Monroe Avenue

Harlingen, Texas (January 15, 2020) – The man who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning in Harlingen has died, according to the police.

The crash happened on Tuesday, January 14, in the area of 77 Sunshine Strip and Monroe Avenue near “Mi Rancho” restaurant.

Police said a driver was heading southbound when they turned into the restaurant, cutting off a motorcyclist. The motorcycle then crashed into the car.

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. His name has not been disclosed.

The driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
