Motorcyclist Injured in Longview Accident at Loop 281 and Eastman Road
Longview, Texas (March 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday evening after a traffic accident in Longview, according to a local news source.
The wreck occurred at around 6:24 p.m. Friday, March 8 at the intersection of Loop 281 and Eastman Road.
Authorities said the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Loop 281 when for an unknown reason it collided with a Longview Police Department car that was in the intersection.
The rider sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. The police officer was unhurt in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
