Man Injured in Abilene Motorcycle Accident on Mockingbird at Abilene High School

Abilene, Texas (August 17, 2019) – A man was injured in a motorcycle accident Friday evening in Abilene, according to the officials.

The accident occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. August 16, on Mockingbird in front of Abilene High School (AHS).

Officials said a small SUV was heading southbound on Mockingbird when it turned into AHS and was hit on the side by a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained an injury to his leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
