Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with Semi-Truck on U.S. 62 and FM 400 in Lubbock
One Injured in Lubbock Motorcycle Accident at U.S. 62 and FM 400 near Idalou
Lubbock, Texas (July 30, 2020) – A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday afternoon in a traffic collision involving a semi-truck in Lubbock, near Idalou, according to DPS.
The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m., July 29, at the intersection of U.S. 62 and FM 400.
DPS said a semi-truck failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of a motorcycle that was heading eastbound on U.S. 62. The motorcycle then rear-ended the semi-trailer.
The motorcyclist was taken to UMC with minor injuries.
No other information was available.
The crash remains under investigation.
