Rider Injured in Austin Motorcycle Accident on U.S. 183

Austin, Texas (August 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision that occurred on Thursday evening in southeast Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred at about 5 p.m. Thursday, August 8, on U.S. 183.

EMS said a motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a vehicle. The impact ejected the rider from his bike.

The rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
