Man Killed in East Arlington Motorcycle Accident at Overhill Drive and East Abram Street

Arlington, Texas (June 23, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening at an East Arlington intersection, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. June 22, in the area of Overhill Drive and East Abram Street.

Police said the man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on East Abram Street while a pickup truck was stopped at a red light facing northbound on Overhill Drive. The pickup driver then pulled into the intersection to turn westbound on East Abram Street and collided with the motorcycle.

The impact ejected the rider from his motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, who was not a wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.

The two people in the pickup were uninjured in the crash. The driver remained at the scene.
