52-Year-Old Man Killed in Corpus Christi Motorcycle Accident on S Padre Island Drive

Corpus Christi, Texas (November 2, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Friday afternoon in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened just before 12:25 p.m. November 1, in the southbound lanes of S Padre Island Drive, just before the Everhart exit.

Police said a 52-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when he clipped the back of a vehicle. The impact ejected the man from his motorcycle and was dragged more than 50-feet.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
