Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Five Points Business Park Road in Abilene

Rider Killed in Abilene Motorcycle Accident on Five Points Business Park Road and Arnold Boulevard

Abilene, Texas (August 11, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle Wednesday night in Abilene, according to the Abilene Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at around 9:04 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, at the intersection of Five Points Business Park Road and Arnold Boulevard.

Police said a 1994 Honda motorcycle was heading southbound on Arnold Boulevard when he crashed into the front passenger side of a northbound 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that was turning onto Five Points Business Park Road from Arnold Boulevard.

The rider was thrown off the bike and landed on the road.

The rider was taken to a hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries early Thursday morning. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The driver of the Chevrolet did not suffer any injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
