Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Truck on Dallas Drive in Denton

22-Year-Old Man Killed in Denton Motorcycle Accident on Dallas Drive near Rio Grande Boulevard

Denton, Texas (August 28, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck Saturday afternoon in Denton, according to the Denton Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday, August 27, in the 1400 block of Dallas Drive near Rio Grande Boulevard.

Police said a motorcycle and a truck were involved in the crash. Details on what led up to the crash at this time are unknown.

The motorcyclist, only identified as a 22-year-old man, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Denton Police Department closed lanes of Dallas Drive as they investigated the crash. All lanes were later reopened.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
