Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Idalou Road and East 4th Street in Lubbock

One Killed in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash at Idalou Road and East 4th Street

Lubbock, Texas (November 18, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in Lubbock, police said.

The fatal crash happened around 1:40 p.m., November 16, at the intersection of Idalou Road and East 4th Street.

Police said a motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the 3200 block of East 4th Street while a red 4-door passenger car was traveling westbound in the 3300 block of East 4th Street.

The car began to turn southwest onto Idalou Road and collided with a motorcycle.

The car fled the scene after the crash heading eastbound on East 4th Street.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where they later died.
