Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 6 in Clifton

One Killed in Clifton Motorcycle Crash on Highway 6 near FM 2136

Clifton, Texas (October 12, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Clifton, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:20 p.m., October 11, on Highway 6 near FM 2136.

DPS said a group of motorcyclists crashed into each other while attempting to pass a northbound vehicle.

The rider of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle took evasive action to avoid the crashed motorcycles and crashed into the side of a southbound Dodge Ram.

A total of six motorcycles were involved in the crash.

The rider of the Harley-Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
