One Killed in Willis Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 45 near Shepherd Hill Road

Willis, Texas (March 27, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday evening in a crash in Willis, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 5:00 p.m., March 26, on Interstate 45, just south of Shepherd Hill Road.

Police said a motorcycle was heading northbound on US 75 at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line and collided with a southbound truck. The motorcyclist was ejected, and they landed on Interstate 45.

The motorcyclist was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The crash closed both highways for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
