Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on U.S. 288 in Houston

1 Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on U.S. 288 at Holly Hall Street

Houston, Texas (May 10, 2021) – According to the police, a motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a hit-and-run crash in south Houston.

The deadly accident happened around 9:30 p.m., May 9, at the intersection of U.S. 288 feeder road and Holly Hall Street.

Police said a pickup truck or SUV was traveling on U.S. 288 feeder road when it ran a red light at the intersection and struck a motorcycle that was traveling westbound on Holly Hall Street.

The driver stopped briefly at the scene after the accident but then fled without rendering aid to the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.
