Motorcyclist, Passenger Injured in Crash on FM 2590 in Canyon

Two Injured in Canyon Motorcycle Accident on FM 2590 near Hunsley Hills Boulevard
Canyon, Texas (February 18, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Canyon, a local news source reported.
The accident was reported at about 4:30 p.m. February 17, on FM 2590 near Hunsley Hills Boulevard.
Officials said a motorcycle was heading southbound on FM 2590 when it rear-ended a pick-up truck that was stopped behind a car which was making a left turn onto Hunsley Hills Boulevard.
The rider did not realize the truck was stopped until it was too late and he locked the brakes, and the bike skidded underneath the pick-up.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet, and he sustained severe injuries in the crash. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A passenger in the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The pickup driver and passengers were uninjured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
