Lubbock, Texas (February 10, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident Friday night in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened around 7:32 p.m. February 7, in the area of 19th Street and Avenue V.

According to a preliminary investigation, a motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the 2200 block of 19th Street while a passenger car was at the stop sign in the 1900 block of Avenue V.

The car continued into the intersection, and it was struck by the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
