Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 183 in Bedford

One Seriously Injured in Bedford Motorcycle Crash on Highway 183 near Central Drive

Bedford, Texas (September 22, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning in Bedford, a local news source reported.

The crash happened around 1:00 a.m., September 20, on Highway 183 near Central Drive.

Police said a motorcycle was rear-ended by a tan or gold-colored truck on the highway.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist, and he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. 

The truck driver continued driving eastbound and didn’t stop to render aid.

The authorities are looking for the driver of the involved truck.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Bedford Police Department.
