Multiple Fatalities Reported in McLennan County Crash on I-35

McLennan County, Texas (August 17, 2019) – Multiple fatalities were reported after a traffic collision on Friday in McLennan County near the Hill County line, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on August 16, on Interstate 35.

Officials said a car run under an 18-wheeler and caught fire. The people in the car were killed in the crash. The victims included a child.

Another vehicle then ran into the back of the wreckage. No one in that vehicle was injured.

The crash closed the interstate.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
