Nathan Matos ID’d as Person Killed in College Station Crash at Holleman Drive and Wellborn Road
College Station, Texas (April 22, 2019) – The person who was killed Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in College Station has been identified as Nathan Matos, 22 of New Jersey. He was a Texas A&M University History senior and member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets,  according to police.
The deadly crash happened at Holleman Drive and Wellborn Road on Saturday, April 20.
Authorities said a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Texas A&M student and College Station resident, was traveling southbound on Wellborn Road approaching Holleman Drive when for an as of yet to be determined reason it left the roadway and hit another vehicle that was on Holleman Drive waiting to turn.
The driver of the car that left the road and his passengers, Matos and a 22-year-old Texas A&M student from Dallas, were all taken to area hospitals. Matos later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
