Nau Ulate Killed in Odessa Motorcycle Accident on 2nd Street; Edgar Ibarra Charged

Odessa, Texas (September 26, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision early Wednesday morning in Odessa, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place around 1:45 a.m. September 25, in the 2400 block of 2nd Street.

Officers said Nau Ulate, 32, was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he crashed. Ulate was then run over by a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Edgar Ibarra.

Ulate was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ibarra was charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The crash remains under investigation.
